fleet operators were staring at pages of dense vehicle data. horizontal scrolling, no hierarchy, cognitive overload everywhere. Not great. We redesigned the whole thing. New structure, new layout, interactions that follow the mental model of the operators that use this daily.

finding people to play sports with locally is harder than it should be. Swoosh was a product design concept exploring how to make that easier. Casual matchmaking, local game organization, low friction.

applying to universities in Germany as an international student is a bureaucratic nightmare. Fragmented information everywhere, no clear process, zero hand-holding. We went in full scale. Interviews, surveys, focus groups, multiple rounds of usability testing, the whole shebang. To build something that the users wanted.

designed a research-backed in-car interface from scratch, then tested it in a driving simulator with 27 participants and eye-tracking glasses to see which input modality caused the least distraction. Touchscreen, voice, or multimodal: who wins?

my first real taste of ux and product work. Got introduced to Nielsen's heuristics for the first time. Five months running usability tests, flagging 20+ UX issues, and designing a full interactive high fidelity prototype for the company's iOS app. Also ended up writing automated API tests in Java. Not exactly in the job description, but that's internships for you.

joined as a general tech intern who would do graphic design, video editing, social media content, the usual. Eventually talked my way into interviewing users, sat down with around 50 doctors, documented what wasn't working, and put together a list of usability issues across their platforms. Only connected the dots to UX research much later.
